After a smoke, a mango vodka & a sunset, it hit me. All that works well for a warm up so the creative process gets rite. Sometimes the process doesn’t require any fuel but sometimes it makes for a sure thing.

Once the “fathom” logo idea hit me I found my quill and drew. My quill work serves for a base to the process. It slows me down. I used fine tip markers too. The next steps are scanning and vectoring to smooth the look of the logo. Getting in the detail is a fun part, checking letter width & shaping curves to make for a fast look or a weathered look. For this it’s fast! Gettin’ the handstyle logo in shirt shape is crucial. Once it’s neat & fast it’s digitally logged & the shirt selection is a go!

Sundown can do it to ya’.

That all happened months a go. After some fathoming and more pen work, I decided to make it a shirt. Look forward to it, it’s a work in progress, that means, give input.
