The sun was high, on August/25/2018, we set out in Saddle Bunch. We, Court and I, launched from my neighbors, the Freyder house on Bay Drive. We were toting beer and I was ready to make way through Five Mile. The paddle there was long and tasking. I had tied my kayak to Court’s and ended up towing her. Once we were in I was in a mangrove heaven. It snakes, the way through Five Mile, and always proves to be interesting. Sharks, rays, mangrove snapper, birds and jets over head, for a moment. The paddle, after the snaking Five Mile course, turned into a mild real estate tour. Court enjoyed that. My take away was the jet fly over while in a mangrove channel with a beer in my hand.
